Syringe filters (combination), CHROMAFIL Xtra GF / PTFE, 1 µm / 0.45 µm

Description

Combi syringe filters are recommended for solutions with a high particle load or for highly viscous solutions. These products combine a coarse glass fiber pre-filter and a narrow-pored  polytetrafluoroethylene membrane as the main filter. The hydrophobic PTFE diaphragm is extremely resistant to all types of solvents as well as acids and bases. Rinsing with alcohol, followed by water, makes the originally hydrophobic membrane more hydrophilic. Labeled for method validation and certification. All CHROMAFIL filters are autoclavable (121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 min)!
