Description

Easy to penetrate, high-purity silicone/PTFE closure for critical analyses with a good price-performance ratio. Can also be used at high temperatures. The retaining webs of the predetermined breaking lines of the cap open at an internal cylinder pressure of more than 3 bar (± 0.5 bar) and thus allow excess pressure to escape in a controlled manner. The functionality of the bursting cap does not depend on the design of the rolled edge (beveled or flat rolled edge). Typically used on Agilent and PerkinElmer devices.
