Replacement septa are not offered for all cap types and sizes, as manual assembly is not recommended due to the risk of contamination and possible incorrect side orientation. For the most common sizes and septum materials, however, we offer these together with the corresponding empty caps. Individual septa N 8 can only be used with the screw caps N 8; they are not suitable for the flared caps N 8. Please note that the nominal diameter of the septa can sometimes be smaller than the ND of the cap due to the wall thickness of the cap (e.g. septa N 12 are mounted in screw caps N 13).
