Syringe filters, labeled, CHROMAFIL Xtra GF, 1 µm

Description

Glass fiber is used as the membrane material inside the syringe filter. The hydrophilic GF membrane is an inert filter for solutions with a high particle load or for highly viscous solutions (e.g. soil samples, fermentation broths). The nominal pore size of 1 µm enables higher flow rates than narrow-pore filters. The membrane material is also used as a pre-filter for CHROMAFIL Combi filters; it prevents the main membrane from clogging. All CHROMAFIL filters are autoclavable (121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 min)!
