This hydrophobic phase with pentafluorophenyl-propyl modification is based on high-purity NUCLEODUR silica gel and offers an alternative selectivity compared to classical C18 modification. The separation mechanism is based on four retention mechanisms – polar interactions (H-bonds), dipole-dipole interactions, π-π interactions and hydrophobic interactions. Suitable for LC/MS.
